Grapes: Sangiovese 100%

Alcohol: 14% vol

Training: Spurred Cordon

Winemaking: This wine comes from a selection of the best Sangiovese grapes and then vinified in the best vintages. The grapes are picked and sorted by hand, then crushed. Maceration on the skins takes place for 22 days in stainless steel tanks, where occurs also the fermentation.

Aging in oak barrels for 18 months and 6 months in french tonneux. Subsequently  bottled and subjected to a further refinement of at least 6 months in bottle.

Description: Deep ruby ​​red color tending to garnet with aging. The wine has an intense bouquet with aromas of cherry and plum, and  hints of sweet spices, pepper and vanilla. Well-balanced, with soft tannins and persistent.

Serving suggestions:  red meat, roasts, game stews and very tasty cheese. Serve at 16 ° -18 °Celsius

Curiosity: The name reminds one of the ancestors of the Rinuccini family who built the villa in the eighteenth century but it is also one of our vineyard’s name.
